FanClub+ ("FanClub+", "we", "us", "our") operates an adults-only (18+) AI companion chat platform (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have. By using the Service you acknowledge the practices described here.
FanClub+ is the data controller for personal data processed through the Service. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact us at support@fanclubplus.app.
Payments are processed by our payment provider (e.g. Stripe). We receive confirmation of a purchase and limited transaction metadata, but we do not collect or store your full card number.
The companions are AI-generated personas, not real people. To generate replies, the content of your messages (and, where enabled, your memory notes) is sent to third-party AI model providers for processing. Where you choose voice notes, the text of a reply is sent to a voice-synthesis provider. Do not share information you would not want processed by these providers. Replies are automatically generated and may be inaccurate; the Service is for entertainment only.
We use automated filters to detect content that may be harmful, illegal, or that targets minors, and to flag attempts to misuse the Service. Flagged messages (including the text involved) may be stored and reviewed by our team, and may lead to suspension or closure of an account. This is described further in our Usage Policy.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers needed to run the Service, under contracts requiring them to protect it:
We may also disclose data where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of users or the public.
Our providers may process data in countries outside your own, including the United States. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) where required by law.
We keep account data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from your profile, which removes your personal data from our active systems. We may retain limited data for longer where necessary for fraud prevention, safety, dispute resolution, or to comply with legal obligations (typically no more than 90 days for chat history after deletion, and longer for transaction records as required by law).
Depending on where you live (including under UK/EU GDPR and the California CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. California residents have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights, and we do not sell or "share" personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. To exercise any right, email support@fanclubplus.app. You may also complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, row-level access controls, and server-side handling of sensitive operations. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data and will notify you and any regulator of a personal data breach where required by law.
We use local storage and session storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
The Service is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn that a minor has used the Service, we will close the account and delete the data. If you believe a minor is using the Service, contact us immediately.
We only send marketing emails (such as offers or re-engagement messages) if you have not opted out. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. Account and safety messages are not marketing and may still be sent.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and, for significant changes, notify you by email or in-app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
